Modules for MODEC FPSO

BigLift Shipping has shipped two topside modules for MODEC FPSO Carioca (Project MV-30) from Angra Dos Reis, Brazil, to Dalian, China, operating Spliethoff’s mv Poolgracht.

The FPSO is being built in China and will be delivered with Brazilian built modules, following the successful experience in the latest projects in the country.

These two modules (amongst other modules) will be installed on FPSO Carioca. When finished the FPSO will be transported to Bazil to be taken into service.

The FPSO will be capable of processing 180,000 barrels of crude oil per day, 212 million standard cubic feet of gas per day, 240,000 barrels of water injection per day and has storage capacity of 1,400,000 barrels of crude oil.
