Long-time Australian representative David Lynn retires

We sadly announce the upcoming retirement of David Lynn of Allways Shipping Pty Ltd. David will step down as our commercial representative in Western Australia and the Northern Territory on 1 July 2025. He has had an exceptional 48-year career in the shipping industry, nearly 40 years of which were dedicated to representing BigLift Shipping.

Throughout his decades of service, David has played a pivotal role in establishing BigLift’s  presence in Australia. His unwavering dedication, extensive industry expertise, and strong relationships have been invaluable in executing numerous successful projects and shipments. David has been much more than a representative; he has been a true ambassador of BigLift Shipping and its values.

We would like to express our gratitude to David for his outstanding contributions and the professionalism with which he has represented BigLift Shipping. His legacy will be long remembered by colleagues, our Heavylift vessels, clients and partners alike.

Looking to the future, BigLift Shipping will continue to prioritise quality, trust and continuity as it strengthens its presence in Australia. From 1 July 2025, this responsibility will be entrusted to Australian Independent Shipbrokers (AIS), who already represent BigLift Shipping in eastern Australia.  Under the leadership of Mr Trent Robson, AIS will continue to serve our clients with the same level of excellence and commitment that David upheld.

We are confident that Trent Robson and the AIS team will maintain our strong presence and relationships in the region.
