Five large offshore modules from Turkey to Brazil
For the P63 FPSO of Petrobas, BigLift were contracted to carry five, large offshore modules (measuring up to 29.00 x 21.00 x 7.90 metres, weighing 235 mt and having 8,800 cbm) from Iskenderun Turkey to Rio Grande, Brazil.
The m.v Traveller safely delivered the cargo to the receiver after sailing 7,000 nautical miles via the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.
The movement involved the participation of a broad international team of engineers and commercial practises from Brazil, Germany, Turkey, the UK and the Netherlands. The large size of the modules provided BigLift Engineering with some interesting challenges for lifting and securing.
